Joe's Place - Rio Rico

Though this resturant could easily be missed being a smaller building, it is certainly not lacking in authentic tasting Mexican food. We tried their bean and cheese burritos, cheese quesadilla, and tostadas. Each item tasted so good! We want to go back soon and try more items on the menu. They have fresh ingredients like salsa, limes, etc out where customers can add even more flavor to their plates. The staff were friendly. We highly enjoyed our visit!

Absolutely delicious, we got the quesabirria tacos and they were delicious. They are a good size but they are so good I wish I would have ordered 3 more. Can't wait to go back!

I was visiting this small town and a couple locals suggested Joe's Place, so I decided to chance it. I was greeted by the bright smile and warm greeting of Nicole. Right away, I felt welcome and any reservations about trying out this new place evaporated. We discussed menu items, and I settled on a Carne Asada burro with cheese, salsa and guacamole, but not the beans. She confirmed my order and was gone. To my surprise, my food arrived within just a few minutes - hot and fresh. As I took my first bite, I confirmed my choice was golden. The meat was tender and perfect cooked. It was not way over-cooked as many places do. The salsa within was a bright balance of flavor and heat. The tortilla was fresh, like it was just made. After a couple of bites in, I realized the guacamole had been missed, but I was enjoying what I had in my mouth so much that I didn't want to let it go! Clearly a five-star experience. I definitely recommend going out of your way to stop here.

Joe’s is ALWAYS our go to for any meal of the day, not only because of the amazing food, but the employees are like family. Home town vibes all around and so clean. I’ve never been to a restaurant with such kind staff. My husband is disabled and has a hard time getting out of the car so when he goes to Joe’s, they see him pull up and bring his order out to him. The food is beyond delicious! Our favorites are the burritos! Breakfast burritos any time of the day and carne asada are the best! They’re so big that they last us 2 meals. Honestly, anything on the menu is amazing. I haven’t even been able to try everything yet but I plan to! The speed from ordering to receiving your food is unprecedented. I could be 5 minutes away, call in my order and it’s ready when I arrive. We love everything and everybody at Joe’s and you have customers for life!

I ordered food on website and wanted it to be delivered. Somehow I ended up on an app and didn't receive my food. When I called to ask, Joe himself cared about the experience, the order and delivered himself. Delicious, thankful and happy to give my business to this company. What a treat! Just looking for lunch in Rio Rico and wanted a place we'd never been... saw this little place and dropped in. We were welcomed and the guy - I think it was Joe - was so kind in introducing us to their menu. We had an assortment and found them all to be perfectly prepared and delicious. We were especially impressed that they do the full range of meats so well. Great little place!
